“There is only one man I take my top off for, and unless you can set yourself on fire, you’re obviously not him.” Katie casually adjusts the gauntlets she’s wearing under the sleeves of her long-sleeved pale blue blouse as she speaks, checking over the blade controls especially. “And if you don’t take orders from me, I don’t take orders from you, so you and your goons can fuck right off.”
She was silently grateful that Keiran was with his father tonight, but she didn’t let that slip at all, because this guy could possibly use that against her if he knew she had a kid.
